Slate vcc not showing up sonar full size#
I'm powering the Leonardo with a 12V power supply and the motor shield is powered by an external 9V supply.Ĭode: Select all | TOGGLE FULL SIZE #include Steven Slate recently launched a new audio educational program called Audio Legends, featuring the music industry’s most notable mixing engineers showing how they mix a song (with Slate plugins). The video shows this happening with pin 13 but I have tested this with multiple pins and nothing has changed. My full code is below, as well as a video showing what's going on. I can fix the issue by doing one of two things: comment out the pin for GND for the sonar, or unplug it. They are all different, so you must pay attention to where YOUR.
Slate vcc not showing up sonar pro#
Pro Tools 10 reads it at only 30 up the meter (no wonder people recorded so hot in Pro Tools 10 and below) and Pro Tools 11 reads -18dbfs as 60 up the meter. Studio One reads it at just below the half way point. I'm not even trying to use the sonar sensor yet, just having it in the setup causes my motor shield to malfunction. Logic’s meter reads -18dBfs as just above the half way point. As I never touched the drive knob I suddenly found that my default workflow (which is gain staging in a separate plugin, adding VCC and setting the console) resulted in a much more saturated (or mushy) sound all of a sudden.
But, when I try to use them together it's like the shield can't send any signals. When VCC was implemented in VMR, they changed the default state of drive from 0 to 6 (I think it is 6). I'm able to read the distance being measured by the sonar sensor, and the motor shield controls both of my motors without a hitch. This song has a whole lot of Steve Slate VCC on it, a TON of UAD stuff on it and a couple of VSTI’s. I go to my mix folder and the song is there. At no point does the status bar show any completion of the mix. Independently both the Ping and the motor shield work great. It did as before showing no progress and after about 3 minutes I suddenly get the main Mixdown Dialog screen. I'm trying to get a couple DC motors to work with the HC-SR04 Ping sensor and have run into a really strange problem: The pin used for GND for the sonar sensor is keeping the motor shield from working, independent of what pin I actually use.
